Alfa Romeo Giulia became the first truly successful car of the Italian brand. Most importantly, it was again our own development, and not a redesigned Fiat. In a sense, Giulia almost saved Alfa Romeo. With it, the brand returned to the promising American market.
Now Alfa Romeo has officially announced its intention to release the second generation of the Giulia sedan. And, according to all the trends and trends, the new “Julia” will be electric. The new generation is expected to arrive no earlier than 2024 and will be built on the STLA Large platform, to which the car will move from the current Giorgio platform. It is already known that the new electric sedan will receive rather large batteries, from 101 to 118 kWh, thanks to which the power reserve can reach an impressive 800 km. At the same time, there is no information at all about the power units.
Alfa Romeo is actively involved in the electrification of its lineup. The first train will be released in 2024, but it will be a crossover, not a Giulia.
