Last Friday, Caoa Chery presented a teaser for their upcoming novelty. And now the Chinese-Brazilian brand has released another teaser in the form of a photograph, from which we can confidently say that this is the new Arrizo 6 Plus. Image depicts the interior of a mid-size sedan, which has a design with lines similar to that of a model that has been restyled in China.
Judging by the published photo, the cabin has a large touchscreen of the multimedia system, the diagonal of which can be about 10.25 inches, and a fully digital dashboard. The steering wheel has a sloped bottom and silver accents, while the center of the dashboard has leather trim and buttons for various functions. Compared to the current Arrizo 6, the gear lever has been moved, the buttons have moved to the left, and the cup holder has been moved back.
Apart from the redesigned interior, which is almost identical to the model sold in China, the exterior of the sedan will also match the style of the Asian model. The Arrizo 6 has two design options in the Chinese market, it remains to be seen which one will be chosen.
The first is more traditional in style with a front grille formed by horizontal ribs, a modified bumper with integrated LED headlights and enlarged air intakes. The second has a sportier styling with a honeycomb grille and exclusive fog lamp trims. At the back, both have the same redesigned lights.
Revealing these teasers, the automaker said it will expand its lineup, which suggests that the restyled sedan will be sold under a different name. In other words, the new Arrizo 6 is expected to take on a new name (it could be Arrizo 6 Plus as it is called Arrizo 5 Plus in China) and coexist in Brazil with the currently marketed Arrizo 6.
