Next year, Hyundai will expand its electric vehicle lineup with the Ioniq 6, which will be the second vehicle to be powered by the E-GMP platform. So, the new Ioniq 6 is designed to compete with models such as Tesla Model 3 and BMW i4. The premiere of the Korean electric car was supposed to take place in the spring, but, according to rumors, it could be postponed until the summer of 2022 due to the desire of Hyundai engineers to achieve better power reserve indicators, including by making adjustments to the style, dimensions of the car, as well as system settings.
According to preliminary information, the new Hyundai Ioniq 6 will receive a battery with a capacity of 77.4 kWh, with which the power reserve of the 2-engine version with a capacity of 305 hp. will step over the 500 km mark. Also in the model lineup there will be a modification with a 58 kWh battery.
The new Ioniq 6 electric car is known to be inspired by the Prophecy concept car. At the same time, the serial novelty will receive increased front and rear overhangs, and the interior will be made in the same vein as that of the Ioniq 5.
