Dacia has released a commercial in which it announced that the recently updated Duster crossover is now presented as a commercial vehicle with an increased luggage compartment and increased payload. Such changes were achieved by removing the second row of seats. The result is a crossover with a large cargo compartment and a flat floor.
Recall that as part of the latest restyling, Duster acquired a redesigned grille, headlights with Y-shaped LED strips and a black trim on the front bumper. Moreover, the latter is typical for the commercial version of the crossover. The standard version has silver trims on the front bumper.
The interior of the commercial crossover is designed in the same style as that of the restyled Duster. In particular, the novelty has received recently redesigned front seats and an improved multimedia complex with an 8-inch touchscreen monitor and support for mobile gadgets. The volume of the cargo compartment of the commercial Duster reaches 1623 liters, and the size of the payload is 503 kilograms. In addition, a tinted protective rear window has been prepared for the novelty.
The Commercial Duster is offered in two versions starting at £ 12,795 ($ 17,300). By default, the crossover is equipped with cruise control, 16-inch steel wheels, electrically adjustable front windows and air conditioning. For a surcharge, you can purchase alloy wheels, a rear view camera, a chrome grille and other options.
The commercial Dacia Duster is available with the same powertrain as a regular crossover. By default, the Romanian model is combined with a 89-horsepower naturally aspirated 1-liter engine that develops up to 160 N * m of thrust. This unit is equipped with a 6-speed “mechanics”. In more expensive versions, a 1.3-liter turbo engine is installed, producing, depending on the version, up to 128 or 148 hp. power. Also included in the engine range is a 1.5-liter turbodiesel that develops up to 113 hp. With the latter unit, you can purchase four-wheel drive with a center differential for a surcharge.
