Toyota has shown a concept for a future SUV called the Compact Cruiser EV, writes Autonews.
Thus, the new SUV will receive the features of the Land Cruiser and the FJ Cruiser with a retro design, in which the cars were produced from 2006 to 2014.
Also, the Toyota Compact Cruiser EV will receive a high ground clearance, LED optics, power bumpers and an unusual hood. The concept is equipped with a radiator grille with Toyota lettering, off-road tires, roof rack and plastic body protectors.
In the cabin there is a digital dashboard, a large touchscreen of the multimedia system and a strangely shaped steering wheel. Specifications have not yet been reported. According to preliminary data, the car will be built on a modified TNGA platform and equipped with two electric motors, as well as an all-wheel drive system.
The premiere of the serial Toyota Compact Cruiser EV should take place in 2024.
Earlier it was reported that Toyota plans to introduce 30 new electric car models by 2030.
