German automaker Mercedes-Benz continues road testing of the new generation GLC crossover. This time, the camera lens of the spy cameras hit a car on which new headlights are already visible.
The seen crossover has increased in size and received an increased wheelbase. This is expected to increase rear passenger legroom and make the cabin even more spacious. Among the visual changes: the protruding grille, which is adorned with LED farces with built-in DRL.
According to the available photos, changes in the area of the front and rear doors are not visible, but the designers have definitely worked on the rear bumper: in addition to the dimensions, the headlights will change, which received an angular design in the style of the Mercedes S-Class.
Representatives of Mercedes-Benz have not yet made official statements about the power plants that will be installed in the crossovers. However, as experts expect, the car should receive a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo with 255 hp. and 400 Nm of torque. The transmission, equipped with EQ Boost technology, will provide an additional 20 hp. and 201 Nm of torque.
From spy photos it is not yet clear what the interior of the Mercedes-Benz GLC will be like. It is expected that the interior of the restyled SUV will repeat the design of the 2022 C-class. It’s a free-standing 12.3-inch virtual dashboard that sits behind the new multi-spoke steering wheel and 11.9-inch touchscreen multimedia. It rises out of the center console and replaces most of it.
