The Honda Rebel 500 model is a great success among both beginners and experienced bikers who are looking for a mid-size motorcycle in the Cruizer style. Honda has rolled out the older Honda CMX1100 Rebel 2021 model, which combines the Rebel style and a 1084 CC inline-two-cylinder engine.
The Rebel 500 has a characteristically low seat height, and the 1100 version does not differ in this component. The seat height of the Honda CMX1100 Rebel 2021 is only 700 mm, which makes the bike comfortable and easy to operate, despite a significant increase in cubature.
The engine is a 1084 CC 270 degree unit from Honda CRF1000L. The electronic throttle control system provides three modes of operation. The engine received a heavier flywheel and updated valve timing to increase performance at low and medium revs, as well as greater comfort at cruise speeds.
The Honda CMX1100 Rebel 2021 is part of a small group of cruisers that are equipped with a semi-automatic transmission thanks to the installation option DCT (Honda Dual Clutch Transmission). If you don’t like the DCT, you can always opt for the classic 6-speed manual.
The suspension is very similar to that of the Honda Rebel 500, but the telescopic fork and a pair of shock absorbers have full preload control. A single 330 mm brake disc with a 4-piston radial caliper is mounted on the front wheel.
The price starts from $ 9,299. The accessories catalog includes everything from trunks and bags to saddles.
