It’s been over a year since Hyundai started selling Sonata sedan in 2020 in new York. Completely redesigned model aimed at changing the game in the segment sedan of medium size, and this is clear in the aggressively styled Sonata.
Hyundai wants to further increase this attractiveness, giving Sonata a set of large wheels. In the 2021 model year, the Sonata gets 19-inch wheels trim levels, SEL and Limited Plus. New wheels shod with all-season tires 245/40 R19 Pirelli P Zero, which, according to representatives of Hyundai, intended for “driving enthusiasts that want to combine the appearance, responsiveness and durability along with all-season traction”.
Another standard feature that is added for the 2021 model year, is a warning about safe output (SEW), which is added in the configuration of the SEL, and SEL Plus Limited. Using radar for blind spots Sonata, SEW beeps warns the driver and passengers of oncoming traffic when parallel Parking.
Hyundai has also added electronic height adjustment for the passenger seat in the Limited version based on customer feedback, the Sonata beginning in 2020.
The above features complement the already rich list of equipment sedan. Hyundai Sonata is also equipped with a 12.3-inch digital instrument unit and 10.25-inch infotainment screen HD with audio video, navigation and standard features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Options include Qi wireless charging, head-up display and digital key Hyundai, which uses a special smartphone app.
Hyundai Sonata 2021 will go on sale in August of this year, although the company has not yet announced any price changes that appear with the upgrade model year.
