New KIA Sedona – first images

Foreign artists have presented their vision of what may be South Korea’s KIA Sedona minivan 2021 model year. The date of the official presentation of new items until nothing is unknown.

The appearance of the updated version of the KIA Sedona minivan, which is in other markets known as Carnival, it’s definitely can be called inevitable. There is no doubt in the fact that the product to brand sliding side doors and a recognizable profile. And now we have a rendering of the new items, which tries to guess features a completely new version of the model.

These visualizations are taken from the YouTube channel AtchaCars, and they are based on the recent sketch teaser published the most KIA. Such sketches typically exaggerate the features of design, such as the size of the rims, but still, these visualisations give a real kind of artistic transformation.

We have shown van multi-angle, showing its square shape and the huge size false radiator grille “tiger nose” surrounded by narrow headlights.

The design does not look very different compared to the current version of the Sedona minivan, but it has to be a completely different car from a technical point of view. Our sources tell us that the platform car appears to be the same “truck”, which is based on the updated Hyundai Sonata and KIA Optima, and it will be a place for a hybrid power plant, which may appear in the future. We believe that at the start of sales, KIA will offer buyers a 2.5-liter four-cylinder turbo engine.

We also suspect that the new Sedona minivan will be slightly larger in size, although the official sketch, and renders the data do not reflect. It would be a small change, but slightly “stretched” wheelbase should give the van more room inside for passengers. More space is never bad, if you’re talking about a seven-seater car.

We have still no official statement from KIA on when and where you will see the updated KIA Sedona minivan.
