New Mercedes-Benz GLA increased in size and will get a new 1.3-liter turbo

The official premiere of the compact crossover Mercedes-Benz GLA next generation will take place on 11 December, the press service of the German mark. It is expected that the car will get more than its predecessor and will get a new system.

The basis of the GLA’s second generation will form a scalable front-wheel platform MFA, which built hatchback A-Class new-generation sedan and wagon to the CLA, the compact MPV B-Class and the recently introduced crossover GLB.

The engine range will include the 1.3-liter petrol “turboservice”, developed jointly with Renault, as well as two-liter engine. Diesel range will be represented aggregates volume of 1.5 liters. In addition, the crossover will be “charged” version of AMG with the indexes 35 and 45, which will receive the engine power from 306 to 421 horsepower.
