Nissan has summed up the first results of Note Aura sales, which started on August 17. This model is currently only available in the domestic Japanese market. As of September 8, the company sold 10,151 of these cars. The result significantly exceeded Nissan’s expectations.
Recall that the Note Aura differs from the usual Note not only in its body kit and trim levels. The Note Aura has a redesigned body, with virtually all exterior panels new. The length, width and height of the car are 4045, 1735 and 1525 mm, respectively, that is, while maintaining the length of the standard version of Aura, it is wider and taller by 40 and 20 mm.
The interior uses tweed door panels, decorative inserts with a wood-like texture, improved noise insulation and side windows are made using multilayer technology. The Note Aura comes with a premium Bose audio system.
Hatch is sold only in hybrid version: 1.2-liter HR12DE gasoline engine with 82 hp. and a torque of 103 Nm recharges the lithium-ion battery that powers the EM47 traction motor, which produces 136 hp. and 300 Nm. In addition to the standard front-wheel drive version, a 4×4 option is also available with an additional 50 kW (68 hp) electric motor on the rear axle.
It is noteworthy that the majority of buyers (70%) choose the expensive G leather edition with leather upholstery. NissanConnect and ProPilot are 80% of customers’ choice. 30% of the cars were sold with four-wheel drive.
Nissan Note Aura in Japan costs from 2,613,300 yen (about 23,700 dollars at current exchange rates) to 2,957,900 yen (about 26,800 dollars).
