Hyundai Grandeur Heritage Series dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the business class model. The classic sedan received a modern “stuffing”.

Photos of the electric car Hyundai Grandeur Heritage Series have been published. They decided to electrify the old sedan in 1986 and modify it for its 35th anniversary. This is reported by the Carscoops website.

Work on the project took eight months. The car has received an electric motor and battery, although the characteristics of the Hyundai Grandeur Heritage Series have not been disclosed yet. According to preliminary data, the power plant was borrowed from the Hyundai Ioniq 5.

Hyundai Grandeur Heritage Series optics are also made in the style of Ioniq 5. The car received pixel LED headlights and lights.

The Hyundai Grandeur salon has been radically redesigned. Leather, wood and velvet are used in the decoration, new front seats are installed. Three displays appeared at once.

Musical instrument maker Samick has worked with Hyundai on the interior, so the front panel mimics a piano lid, and one of the touchscreen graphics looks like instrument keys.

This is not the first such retro electric car from the Korean brand. Previously, the Hyundai Pony, the first model of the brand, was remade in the same way. And soon the Hyundai Galloper SUV will be turned into an electric car.

Earlier it was reported about the future electric crossover Hyundai Ioniq 7. It will be the largest electric vehicle of the brand.
