The company Opel has published a video giving an idea of the appearance of a compact crossover Mokka next generation. The video also appeared the General Director of the German brand Michael Aseller.
Mokka will become the first car company with a fundamentally new front part body with integrated lighting, called Vizor. The cabin will appear the front panel is Pure Pannel, which the developers describe as a “high-tech cockpit” with the lack of physical buttons and two large displays that provide the driver with all relevant information “without the annoying visual effects”.
Opel Mokka next generation will be built on a scalable platform CMP PSA group, to which the German brand entered three years ago. Thanks to a new database, the crossover will be approximately 120 kg lighter.
The car will share engines with the new Peugeot 2008. The range will include a 1.2-liter supercharged petrol engines with a capacity of 100, 130 and 155 HP and a-liter diesel engine, issuing 100 and 130 horsepower. Plus Opel confirms Mokka will be a fully electric version. According to preliminary data, it will borrow a green Corsa c 136-horsepower electric motor and a battery set at 50 kilowatt-hours.
Premiere of the Opel Mokka the next generation will take place in the coming months. Car sales will start in Europe in 2021.
