The new Porsche 911 GT3, presented in February this year, has an optional Touring package. As in the previous generation, it is addressed to connoisseurs of a discreet appearance, while you do not need to pay extra for it.
The Touring Package Coupé has the same engine, transmission, suspension, wheels and tires as the regular 911 GT3. Recall that a four-liter aspirated engine is installed on the sports car, developing 510 hp. and 470 Nm. For the first time, it is offered in combination with a seven-speed dual-clutch robot: the previous Touring came only with a six-speed manual, which is now available as a free option. However, if you live in the US state of California, you will have no choice – only PDK.
The main visual difference of the Touring Package is the absence of a wing. Instead, an automatically retractable rear spoiler was installed. In addition, from the outside, a car with such a package stands out with a special radiator grille, window edging and trim for exhaust pipes, a GT3 touring badge on the rear bumper.
There is more black leather in the interior trim. The seat centers are upholstered in fabric and the Porsche logo is depicted on the headrests. The sills, dashboard and center console have black aluminum décor.
Together with the Touring Package, Porsche offers almost all the optional equipment available for the regular 911 GT3: LED headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus, composite brakes, Smart Front Axle Lift system, various driving assistants, premium Bose acoustics and a special chronograph.
In the US, the Porsche 911 GT3 with Touring Package will start shipping in early 2022. Price – from $ 161,100.
