The start of sales of the new Nissan Note Aura in the Japanese market is scheduled for this fall.
The Nissan Note hatchback, which updated the generation in the fall of 2020, has a premium version. Formally, it is referred to as the Nissan Note Aura, but marketers are strenuously distancing it from the base car: a large Aura nameplate is on display, and on the Nissan website, a similar five-door exists in a separate section.
The visual image of the new modification has been preserved, but the Aura version still has original bumpers, different radiator grilles, headlights, and taillights. Already “in the base” the Nissan Note Aura has an adaptive head light and 17-inch alloy wheels. A two-tone body can be ordered for the standard Note model, but the Aura version has its own color combinations.
The Nissan Note Aura interior has been decorated with wood-like inserts, and the doors have tweed-like fabric inserts. Standard seats in the car – with combined upholstery, you can purchase “leather” for a surcharge. The initial complete set corresponds to the top version of the usual Note in terms of equipment saturation. The soundproofing of the roof and doors has been reinforced, and thicker glass has been installed in the front doors of the Nissan Note Aura.
The Bose audio system is already in the basic configuration of the novelty. And as an option, the Bose Personal Plus acoustics are offered, the main feature of which is a pair of speakers at the ends of the front passenger’s headrest.
Like the base Note model, the Aura version has an e-Power hybrid powertrain in which the 1.2 petrol engine (82 hp) operates only in generator mode and is not coupled to the wheels. The hatchback moves on electric traction, and for the performance of the Aura, the output of the front electric motor has increased from 116 hp. and 280 Nm to 136 hp. and 300 Nm. The rear electric motor on the all-wheel drive versions is the same, it develops 68 hp. and 100 Nm. Nissan Note Aura will start selling in the Japanese market this fall.
