Chinese brand Venucia, which became a collaboration between Nissan and Dongfeng, have released a modified cross-coupe based on the Qashqai previous generation. Modernization touched the exterior, interior and range of power units.
At the heart of all crossovers brand Venucia are not relevant chassis Nissan, for example, the T90 model is based on units Qashqai+2 first-generation, sharing with a seven-seat version of 2765 mm wheelbase. In length of Chinese crossover on 426 millimeters larger than the current Qashqai from front to rear of new 4805 millimeters.
Externally, the cross-coupe is Nissan, nothing. From the SUV to the restyling, the updated machine has a fully led optics, new bumpers and reshaped by the salon. The instrument panel is now digital, the unit climate control is governed exclusively by touch keys, multimediasystem got new features, some of which are controlled via the new multifunction steering wheel.
Changes in the technical equipment touched the motor forced the 1.4-litre engine was sent into retirement, replacing it with a modified 2.0-liter aspirated. Thanks to the new software, to increase the compression ratio and replace the pistons power is up by 11 horsepower to 150 forces, and torque – seven Nm to 205 Nm. In the suspension tuning and transmission of the Chinese engineers did not intervene: Venucia T90 kept the 190 mm ground clearance and uncontested CVT.
On sale T90 Venucia will go to the end of September, prices will be announced in the coming days. Plans to export the products of the brand Venucia from Nissan no: the brand develops exclusively within the PRC.
