The project of creating a limited edition coupe Nissan GT-R50 from Studio Italdesign came to the finish line. Italian Studio and the Japanese brand unveiled the production version of the supercar with a starting price of 990 thousand euros – new completes the dynamic tests on the ground the name of Tazio Nuvolari.
Nissan and Italdesign planned to show the finished coupe in March at the Geneva motor show, but the pandemic coronavirus premiere was postponed. Today the parties have officially confirmed that despite the “coronavirus” crisis anniversary GT-R50 is at the final stage, delivery of the model will begin on schedule at the end of the 2020 year, and the first buyers of the car have already been sent.
Studio Italdesign and Nissan decided to release a series of 50 rethought supercars GT-R in honor of the fiftieth anniversary of the model. Coupe in reading Italdesign is based on the GT-R Nismo, however, is different from the “charged” version of the completely original body with active aerodynamics, which is wider and longer than standard; uprated to 720 horsepower (780 Nm) 3.8-liter turbo V6; and a minimalist design in the spirit of racing cars of the GT class. Although the Nissan GT-R50 from Italdesign is five times more expensive than the regular GT-R Nismo and ten times more than the base GT-R, a lack of filings for the Studio not: the Studio claims that high customer demand and a “significant number of pre-orders” already issued. At the moment customers are engaged in the personalization of Italian-Japanese supercars. At the same time in Italdesign recognize that all copies of GT-R50 has not sold out.
