Foreign media reported about the beginning of the collapse of the concern Renault – Nissan – Mitsubishi in connection with litigation involving the former head of the Alliance Carlos Ghosn.
According to the newspaper Financial Times, citing its sources, according to the plans of the management of Nissan, in the course of exit from the Alliance would be severed all ties between the companies in the technical and production areas, and inside the Japanese automaker will be a major reshuffle. The newspaper’s sources also claim that the escape of Carlos Ghosn in Lebanon was not the cause, but only contributed to increase the already existing tension between the members of the Association.
Such a move could force the members of the Alliance Renault – Nissan – Mitsubishi search for new partners to compete effectively with existing automotive industry associations. Not so long ago, his forces joined the concerns of the PSA – Fiat Chrysler.
Recall that thanks to unions, the manufacturers can save on development of new platforms and other technologies used in the manufacture of machinery. In turn, this reduces production costs and, consequently, the final price of the company’s products.
