Nissan is preparing a new crossover under the brand Name Venucia


Nissan Motor has prepared a stylish compact crossover for the Chinese market. It will be marketed under the Venucia brand. Pictures published in the database of the Ministry of Industry of China.

The new product will be named V-Online. Usually the Venucia brand specializes in budget models, but this SUV at first glance does not give the impression of a cheap car. The exterior has a sporty character and sophisticated styling solutions. At the front, attention is drawn to a huge black grille with a pattern in the form of quadrangles, at the rear – LED lights stretching along the entire stern.

A spoiler is installed on the tailgate, and it itself can be painted both in body color and in black (both partially and completely). The Venucia V-Online is 4562 mm long and has a 2700 mm wheelbase. Thus, the new product is slightly more compact than the Nissan X-Trail. The CMF-C / D platform was probably borrowed from him.

The car is supposed to be equipped with a 1.5-liter turbo engine with 190 hp. with a declared average consumption of 6.6 l / 100 km. The rest of the characteristics, including the types of transmissions, will be announced during the presentation of the crossover. Venucia V-Online sales are due to start later in 2021. Prices have not yet been announced.

Recall that the Venucia brand was created by Nissan and Dongfeng in 2010. Under this brand in China they sell original models based on Nissan. The Venucia lineup includes the D60 compact sedan (Nissan Sentra platform), the T60, T70 (Qashqai based) and T90 crossovers, the M50V minivan and several electric vehicles.
