Industrial and creative designer Nazar Eisa from the United Arab Emirates posted renders of a Nissan Patrol 6×6 on Behance, noting that they were made “for a client from Abu Dhabi.” There are no more details, which means that you can dream of the basis of the “monster” in the form of Patrol Nismo with atmospheric “eight” 5.6, complemented by an omnivorous suspension with racing shock absorbers and other off-road useful accessories.
Six-wheeled SUVs are very popular in the Middle East. For example, the 6×6 Dubai portfolio includes three-axle pickups based on the fifth generation Patrol (Y61), as well as conversions from the Land Cruiser 79, 200 and Ford F-550. There are more radical revisions of the Patrol, such as Sheikh Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan’s “White Spider” on display at the Dubai Off-Road Museum.
Nazar Eisa proposes to take the restyled Nissan Patrol presented in 2019 as a basis for the project. It is easily recognizable by the “boomerangs” of the running lights and the new interpretation of the branded V-shaped radiator grille with horizontal “ribs” and massive edging. Such a car relies on two engines: a V6 4.0 with a capacity of 275 forces and 394 Nm of torque and a V8 5.6, which develops 400 forces and 560 Nm of torque. The box is a five- and seven-speed automatic, full All-Mode 4×4 drive.
The current Nissan Patrol in the UAE starts at AED 199,900. The “charged” SUV Patrol Nismo is estimated at 385,000 dirhams. At the same time, the car is distinguished not only by special wheels, sports body kit and interior, but also by a recalibrated suspension and a more powerful engine. Takumi’s craftsmen, who usually work on the GT-R coupe units, were responsible for tuning the “eight” 5.6 here, and now it produces 434 forces (+29 hp) and 560 Nm of torque.
