Nissan has posted on its YouTube channel a 20-second teaser video of the Patrol Nismo SUV, the most powerful in the range. In the video, you can clearly see the Nismo nameplate on the fifth door of the car and the premiere date is March 31st.
First of all, this SUV is addressed to customers from the Middle East. It’s not even clear yet if the Patrol Nismo will be available outside of this market. For the model, this region remains the main sales market, therefore, the pre-styling Nismo version was released specifically for it.
The previously updated powerful Patrol has already caught the lens of spy cameras. Differences from the regular SUV include the original front bumper, 22-inch two-tone wheels and Nismo-specific red accents.
Under the hood there will be a modified 5.6-liter V8. The unit is boosted from the standard 405 to 434 horsepower. The pre-reform Patrol Nismo had exactly the same number.
As a reminder, the standard Nissan Patrol was updated in the fall of 2019.
