As intended by the developer, the back should resemble the Tesla Cybertruck style.
Six-wheeled vehicles are not uncommon these days: we have already seen similar works from Rezvani, Hennessey, Mercedes. But Apocalypse Manufacturing wants to outshine them all with their crazy Jeep Gladiator-based Hellfire 6×6 project. The intimidating pickup truck got its 20 minutes of fame thanks to Jay Leno.
This particular instance is powered by an LS3 engine with over 500 horsepower, but buyers can opt for a Hellcat unit or even a 3.0-liter twin-turbo diesel engine as an alternative (recoil is not named). The transmission features an eight-speed automatic borrowed from the Ram 3500 HD. Apocalypse Manufacturing owner Joseph Gattas says a manual transmission is also available, but given the heavy weight (2.72 tonnes) and power, the handle will have to change the clutch quite often.
As conceived by the developer, the back should resemble the Tesla Cybertruck style. The spacious cargo platform can be fitted with an additional 180 liter fuel tank or a water tank. The standard Gladiator wheels have been replaced with more off-road wheels with 40-inch tires, however, customers will be offered 38-inch tires as an alternative.
The body panels are painted “for tank armor”, but they will not stop the bullets. In the salon, almost everything came from a donor, one exception is a screen that broadcasts an image from a night vision camera on the roof, and even that is offered for an extra charge.
