Not to be, and seem: St-Line for the Ford Edge

American mid-size Ford Edge crossover is now available to order in the new version ST-Line in which the car looks more sporty. Engines for the new proposed standard.

You like the look of high-performance Ford Edge crossover ST, but you are not interested in paying extra money for something that was under his hood was a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 producing 335 HP? Now Ford is offering the new version of the ST-Line, the essence of which is to offer the appearance of the ST-version of the crossover, but without the additional performance.

“Edge ST continues to reach a new level with the stunning style, high performance and advanced technology,” said marketing Manager of Ford’s Craig Patterson. “But some of our customers want to get aggressive style from the ST version of the model and do not need high power. That’s why we have created Edge ST-Line”.

Under the hood, Edge ST-Line is a familiar 2.0-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost engine producing 250 HP, coupled with eight-speed automatic transmission, which in turn transmits torque to the front wheels.

This is the same configuration of the engine and transmission as the other trim Edge, but the ST-Line may boast of monochromaticity external processing with the bumpers painted in body color, black moldings, lower trim, fog lights, led lights and 20-inch wheels.

Edge ST-Line comes with the infotainment system Ford Sync 3 with support for Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, voice assistant, Alexa, and wireless charging. Additional equipment includes a “package” of assistance to the driver of the Ford Co-Pilot360, and four-wheel drive. For those who still need more capacity, we have updated the “package” Performance, Performance Brake Package.

The price of the Ford Edge crossover ST-Line 2020 model year will begin with 38, $ 100. The novelty is already available for order.
