Not yet introduced Audi RS Q8 was the fastest production SUV ever traveled on the track nürburgring. He managed to drive the 21-mile track in 7 minutes and 42,253 seconds, seven seconds faster than rival Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 S.

Ingolstadts crossover time has shown, which can be compared with the results of SuperVeloce Lamborghini Murcielago, Nissan GT-R, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG and Ferrari 599 GTB. Record video-in, is not yet recognized officially appeared on the portal Nurburgring.


RS Q8 is equipped with four-liter engine V8 twin-turbo that produces about 600 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque. With such a powerplant acceleration to 100 kilometers per hour takes RS Q8 3.8 seconds. The speed limiter is triggered at 305 kilometers per hour.

At the end of August this year it was reported that RS Q8 will be the most powerful crossover in the Audi lineup. From standard Q8 “charged” version can be distinguished by the original bumpers with massive air intakes, 22-inch wheels with low profile tires, a pair of oval exhaust pipes, divorced, the edges of the rear bumper and red brake calipers.
