BMW Motorrad and custom Atelier Roland Sands Design on Friday, August 7, revealed a concept bike R18 Dragster with many improvements. Improvements have affected the engine, chassis, brake system and appearance.
Dragster designed on the basis of a large cruiser BMW R18. From a simple motorcycle it is ergonomic driver’s seat: the bike is equipped with a lower seat, and instead of the usual steering wheel appeared clipon, fastened to the fork of the BMW R nineT. Front brakes with radial mount calipers borrowed from a sports bike BMW S 1000 RR.
Opposed 2.0-liter engine got an upgraded intake system, a nitrous injection and a new exhaust system made of stainless steel. About how productivity increased from the original 91 HP and 158 Nm, not mentioned.
Externally, the bike also features a modified frame, fuel bays and other Dunlop tires. The bike is made in one piece and shows the customization model R18. At its creation took about 3.5 months.
