Torsus Terrastorm is a commercial off-road model based on the Volkswagen Crafter. It was developed by Ukrainian specialists.

The off-road Torsus Terrastorm lineup has been expanded with a cargo version. It is offered in the form of a chassis, on which a wide variety of body types can be mounted. This is reported by the Motor1 website.

The Torsus company was founded by Ukrainians, but manufactures equipment in Bratislava. She became famous thanks to the Praetorian off-road bus, which has already been purchased by the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard. The presentation of the passenger version of the Torsus Terrastorm took place a year ago in Kiev.

The Terrastorm is based on the Volkswagen Crafter. The frame was reinforced, and the suspension was worked on by specialists preparing equipment for the Dakar rally. The ground clearance has increased to 250 mm, the approach angle – up to 26 degrees, and the exit – up to 20 degrees.

The car is capable of fords up to 82 cm deep. The equipment also includes 17-inch off-road tires, a winch and a snorkel. The bottom is covered with metal plates.

Torsus Terrastorm is equipped with 2.0-liter turbodiesels with a capacity of 140 and 177 hp. with. You can choose from a 6-speed manual or 8-speed automatic transmission, and the four-wheel drive is complemented by a rear differential lock.

Torsus Terrastorm is offered in versions with a wheelbase of 3640 and 4490 mm with a payload capacity of 3.5, 5 and 5.5 tons. You can choose a two-door or four-door cab for 2-6 people.
