Starting with crossovers, the 2022 Q7 and Q8 receive a new Competition Plus version. They sport a sportier look with a black grille, blacked-out badges and 21-inch aluminum wheels. Car enthusiasts will love the red brake calipers and carbon fiber inserts inside and out.
Next month, the brand plans to amass a decent order for new Competition Plus variants. Prices in the native German car market for the Q7 start at 78,170 euros. For Q8, they ask for 84,500 euros.
The brand has also updated the A1 Sportback 40 TFSI so that the foreign car produces 204 hp. and 320 Nm of torque. That’s a modest 7 bhp increase. In addition to the upgraded engine, the A1 Sportback 40 TFSI as well as the 30 TFSI and 35 TFSI variants will receive a new S line competition package. It includes a matte black grille, tinted badges, and Mythos Black accents on the roof and rocker panels. Other highlights include tinted lighting elements and platinum gray accents.
Last but not least, the A4 and A5 outperform the S line and S line Competition. For example, the A4 S line has a matt radiator grille, a stone protection strip, an S4 spoiler, and Audi rings in a black Singleframe.
In addition, the package adds 19-inch wheels for a more dynamic look.
The A4 S line Competition plus goes further with LED headlights, black mirror caps, illuminated front door sill trims and an ambient lighting system. Models equipped with an engine with an output of at least 201 hp. (150 kW / 204 hp), also get red brake calipers.
The updated A1, A4 and A5 will go on sale on May 20 in Germany. It remains unclear if these updated models will appear in other markets around the world.
