Only Japan: one of the rarest Ferraris will go under the hammer

In Tokyo, the rarest Ferrari J50 in black color 2019 was put up for sale. In total, the engineers built 10 exclusive cars, each of which was adapted to the individual needs of customers. For a unique supercar with a mileage of only 692 kilometers, the seller plans to gain $ 3.6 million.

Ferrari J50 debuted in 2016. The model, built on the basis of the serial Ferrari 488 Spider, was released in honor of the 50-year presence of the Italian brand in the Land of the Rising Sun. In total, the engineers built 10 exclusive Targa supercars, which they sold exclusively to Japanese customers. The model was equipped with a folding carbon fiber roof, an enlarged windshield, narrow front optics, as well as four round taillights and a small spoiler.

The supercar was distinguished by 20-inch wheels of a special design, as well as increased engine power. Experts have brought the output of the 3.9-liter turbocharged V8 to 690 horsepower. For comparison, a 670-horsepower unit was installed on the Spider. The J50 engine is paired with a seven-speed “robot” with two clutches. The limited supercar accelerates to “hundreds” in 3.4 seconds. The maximum speed is electronically limited to 325 kilometers per hour.

The body and interior of the Ferrari J50 for sale are made in black. According to the seller, the exclusive supercar covered only 692 kilometers in two years of operation. The owner is ready to part with a unique copy for 3.6 million dollars.

In early June, the Italian studio Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera released the first mid-engined car for its 95th anniversary. The novelty, based on the Ferrari 488, was named Arese RH95.
