In Europe, the Opel Zafira Life is offered in three body lengths (4600, 4950 and 5300 mm), in the form of an electric car, and more recently in the Crosscamp Flex version, created in cooperation with the mobile home manufacturer Erwin Hymer Group. This Zafira Life is prepared for the longest trips, its price reaches € 45,999. But now you can save money by choosing the Crosscamp Lite modification for purchase. It costs € 44,499, and the kitchenette with a sink, a full-fledged stove and cabinets has been removed from the list of equipment.
Zafira Life Crosscamp Lite is equipped with two turbo diesels to choose from – 1.5 (120 HP) and 2.0 (145 and 177 HP). The younger engine works in tandem only with a six-speed “mechanics”, and the older one – with both a manual transmission and an eight-speed automatic.
Dual-zone climate control and heated front seats are entry-level equipment, while bi-xenon headlights, navigation, head-up display, keyless entry, rearview camera and Park Pilot will have to be charged separately.
But you can still relax in nature without any problems. The basic equipment includes a remote gas stove, a storage box at the left sliding door, a compartment for a gas bottle, and a niche between the front seats for a 13-liter refrigerator. The seats of the salon form a sleeping place measuring 140 x 200 cm, and two more “beds” (in total – 120 x 200 cm) can be equipped under a lifting fabric roof. Also in the list of basic equipment there are systems for automatic braking, keeping in a lane, road sign recognition and adaptive cruise control. You don’t need to pay extra for multimedia with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support.
