The last generation Porsche 911 GT3 has become the most popular in the US market.

According to the published data, the Porsche 911 GT3 in the United States market turned out to be the most popular with “mechanics”, although in other countries the “robot” PDK is more preferred. The Porsche 911 GT3 sports car of the previous generation 991.2 was offered with a choice of a PDK robot with two clutches and a 6-speed manual transmission.

It is known that in all markets of the world, except for the USA, 40% of GT3 sales were provided by modification with a manual transmission. In the United States market, 6-speed manual gearbox equipment unexpectedly accounted for 70% of total sales – almost double the global average.

According to experts, it is most likely due to the success of the “three-pedal” modification that Porsche has retained the manual transmission in the new GT3 generation 992. By default, the sports car is equipped with a 7-speed “robot” PDK with two clutches, but the choice is there is still a 6-speed “mechanics”.
