Peugeot to launch hybrid version of the 3008 compact SUV; the car is available with front-and all-wheel drive.
All-wheel drive version is equipped with two electric motors and a gasoline engine, the total output of a power unit 300 HP It makes the crossover is the most powerful model in the line of Peugeot.
The result of 300 “horses” is achieved by the 1.6-litre PureTech petrol engine paired with two electric motors: on the front axle is the engine capacity of 81 kW (110 HP), rear – power 83 kW (113 HP).

Li-ion battery (working under voltage of 300 V) with a capacity of 13.2 kWh is located under the rear row of seats. From 7.4-kilowatt of charger it can charge in 1 hour 45 minutes, from 3.7-kilowatt – approximately 7 hours.

The hybrid 3008 is built on the EMP2 platform of PSA group’s compact and midsize cars, so it is almost identical to plug-in hybrid Peugeot 508, 7 Crossback DS, Aircross Citroen C5 and Opel/Vauxhall Grandland X, which will also appear on the market in 2020.
In Peugeot claim that the only difference from hybrid petrol and diesel versions (noticeable from a practical point of view) is lack of dokatki under the boot floor.
