Following the Ford Bronco, whose body color palette has appeared the “historical” shade of Eruption Green Metallic, its competitor – Jeep Wrangler received a new paint. In honor of the 80th anniversary of the brand, Stellantis decided to add a deep and rich chromatic purple color scheme to the range called Tuscadero. From November, Magenta SUVs will be available from US Jeep dealerships for a $ 395 option.
Tuscadero, or Chromatic Magenta, is being offered for the first time on the Jeep Wrangler. As with the Bronco, the vibrant hue should appeal to enthusiasts who want to stand out dearly. The paint will be offered for all modifications of the SUV – including Sport, Sahara, Rubicon, 4xe hybrid and the mighty Wrangler Rubicon 392 with a 6.4-liter HEMI figure-eight.
This Wrangler has been added to the gamut for the first time. In addition to the powerful engine, it received an eight-band automatic, third-generation Dana 44 axles with Tru-Lok electronic locks and a stabilizer with a hydraulic lock. The Dodge Challenger SRT Super Stock 392 has the Torque Reserve function, which creates a reserve of torque when starting from two pedals, and from the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk – the AMax gear shift algorithm, which matches the shift strategy with the available traction.
Well, the day before, Ford added two new shades to the Bronco body color range: Hot Pepper Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat and Eruption Green Metallic. The first was previously offered for the Focus ST, and the second is a modern interpretation of the Mallard Green color scheme, in which the first generation Bronco was painted from the early to mid 70s of the last century. Acceptance of orders for such SUVs will open before the end of the year.
