Polaris introduced an electric all-terrain vehicle for $ 30,000

Polaris, together with engineers from Zero Motorcycles, has officially presented the Ranger XP Kinetic universal electric all-terrain vehicle, which is suitable both for outdoor enthusiasts and for work on agricultural land. The off-road novelty, equipped with a 110-strong unit, is available in two trim levels. The cost of the vehicle ranged from $ 25,000 to $ 30,000.

The Ranger XP Kinetic received an all-electric powertrain with 110 horsepower. According to the developers, the new all-terrain vehicle is 30 percent more powerful than all existing analogues in the world market. A two-seater electric car with a carrying capacity of about 550 kilograms received a metal safety cage, reinforced shock absorbers and off-road tires. In addition, a silent electric motor will allow hunters to move unnoticed after prey, and city dwellers will be able to clean the territory without disturbing their neighbors.

The electric all-terrain vehicle is available in Premium and Ultimate trim levels. In the first case, the car is equipped with a battery with a capacity of 14.9 kilowatt-hours, which allows an electric car to travel up to 70 kilometers on a single charge. The Ultimate version has a 29.8-kilowatt battery with a range of up to 130 kilometers. In addition, the top version of the all-terrain vehicle is complemented by a seven-inch infotainment screen with speakers on the dashboard.

The Ranger XP Kinetic Premium was priced at $ 25,000. You will have to pay $ 30,000 to play Ultimate.

In January last year, Polaris showed the Slingshot tricycle equipped with a 180-horsepower “naturally aspirated” tricycle. At the same time, the development of the engines was carried out by specialists in conjunction with Mercedes-AMG.
