The company wants to create a climate-neutral car by 2030. Partners ZF and Autoliv will help Polestar in this project.

We are talking about the Polestar 0 project, which promises a complete overhaul of vehicle technology – from production to delivery.

In the meantime, Polestar is signing contracts with partners. So, together with ZF, the brand will develop options for eliminating carbon emissions, and the Autoliv team will help with safety equipment.

Steel companies Hydro and SSAB will provide zero-carbon aluminum and fossil-free steel.

Automotive lighting manufacturer ZKW will develop climate-neutral electrical control systems and wiring for the Polestar electric car.

The brand’s desire to create a completely climate-neutral car became known back in 2021. And this idea appealed to many companies that care about the environment. Only instead of planting trees, like-minded people decided to radically change the approach to creating cars.
