Porsche will be showcasing five of its latest developments at the Los Angeles Auto Show: the fastest Cayman ever, the 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport racing car, two new electric cars, the Taycan and the Panamera in a luxury Platinum Edition.
At the Los Angeles Auto Show (November 19-28), Porsche will unveil the new flagship of the 718 family, the 718 Cayman GT4 RS. It differs from the standard GT4 by increased downforce and engine power, as well as reduced weight.
The RS version of the Cayman overcomes the 20.6-kilometer circle of the Nürburgring North loop in 7 minutes 4.511 seconds. That’s 23.6 seconds faster than the 718 Cayman GT4 fitted with the Porsche Dual Clutch Transmission (PDK).
Along with the 718 Cayman GT4 RS, the 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport debuts at the auto show in California’s largest city.
The electric Porsche Taycan will be presented with two world premieres: a new modification that sits between the Taycan 4S and the Taycan Turbo, and a third body style (in addition to the four-door coupe and Cross Tourismo station wagon).
The Panamera range also receives a new addition: Porsche is launching a special version with exclusive equipment: the Platinum Edition.
The official presentation of all five new products will take place on November 17 at 05:00 CET. The event will be hosted by former Formula 1 driver and Porsche brand ambassador Mark Webber. The event will be broadcast in English on the Porsche website as well as the brand’s Facebook and YouTube pages.
