Porsche has fully declassified the most powerful Porsche 911


In Zuffenhausen built a 911 Turbo S, which claims to be the most dynamic Porsche of all time.

As expected, the supercar has kept a turbocharged oppozitnik volume 3,8 L. However, Porsche claims to have created a new engine, although not hide the fact that it was built on the basis of the motor from the current 911 Carrera. Thanks to a thoroughly revised turbocharger system and other injection unit develops 50 HP and 70 Nm more than its predecessor – that is, the 650 HP and 800 Nm, and operates with eight-speed robot PDK.

In the end, both coupe and cabriolet 911 Turbo S is able to gain the first 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds (0.2 seconds faster than before), while the sprint to 200 km/h in just 8.9 seconds. Maximum speed – 330 km/h.

Compared with the predecessor Porsche Turbo S became a little wider front track has added 42 mm, rear – 10 mm. in addition, sports car got a different-sized disks. Used front 20-inch wheels with tires in the dimension 255/35 on the rear axle set, 21-inch with tires 315/30.


The exterior of the compartment as a whole has already been declassified, but some details remained behind the scenes. In Porsche confirmed, for example, the presence of the sports car’s active dampers, a front spoiler with a pneumatic drive and a massive rear wing, which together increase downforce by 15%, as well as an impressive air intakes in the rear fenders (by the way, the width of the compartment in the back now reaches 1 900 mm).

The basic equipment of Porsche 911 Turbo S will include, for example, the adaptive PASM chassis (optional – lowering by 10 mm), sports exhaust system with adjustable valves, and, of course, all-wheel drive with advanced traction control: front axle transmission can send when you need to 500 Nm of torque.

As options for the interior referred to the finish from the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, the chair is adjustable in 18 positions, a multimedia centre with a 10.9-inch screen and Bose surround sound system, steering wheel, GT and the like.

In Germany, the 911 Turbo S is estimated at 216 396 euros for the coupe, and for the version with a folding top will have to pay a minimum of 229 962 euros.
