The Porsche brand has developed a one-of-a-kind sports car, the 911. The car is dedicated to racing driver Pedro Rodriguez, who has been called the most successful motorsport in Mexico ever.
The unique Porsche 911 received a special design of the body, as well as the interior with commemorative plaques and engravings and a number of unusual accessories. The compartment will be auctioned off and the proceeds will go to charity. The Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur division, specialists from the factory museum of the brand, the Latin American representative office of the Porsche brand, as well as the Pedro Rodriguez family took part in the development of this car.
As a result, the Porsche 911 sports car was painted in the driver’s signature livery: a bright blue shade called Gulf Blue with orange stripes and white circles on the doors. The car was equipped with exclusive wheel rims with a central nut, as well as a plate located on the B-pillar of the body, it depicted the silhouette of the Porsche 917 KH, on which Rodriguez performed, and his signature.
Similar decorative elements are used in the car’s interior: embroidery on the headrests, as well as plates on the panel. Under the rear spoiler of the coupe are engraved the names of the eight races that Pedro Rodriguez won in Porsche cars. The car key was issued in the same way: it is painted in the same blue and also bears the driver’s signature. In addition, a set of bags and suitcases made of blue leather with orange stitching was created to complement the Porsche 911 coupe. The appearance of a one-of-a-kind supercar is timed to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the death of Pedro Rodriguez at the Norisring circuit.
