In addition to the existing versions of the Porsche Taycan, the German manufacturer is developing two more new ones: the Sport Turismo station wagon and the track-oriented GTS modification.
Currently, the first in the history of the Porsche brand car with an electric power plant is offered, in addition to the basic version, in the 4S, Turbo and Turbo S modifications. However, according to InsideEVs, the Taikan model line will soon be replenished with two more versions: GTS and Sport Turismo. One of the foreign owners of Taycan saw this information on the pages of the internal Porsche portal on the computer of one of the employees of the local dealer’s sales department – the location is not disclosed for confidentiality reasons. He even managed to take a picture of the monitor and post the picture on the forum of electric car owners, but after a while all information about this was removed from the site.
The Porsche GTS (short for Gran Turismo Sport) has traditionally been track-oriented cars – lightweight, with different steering settings and modified suspension for better handling. The Taycan GTS will probably also feature a more developed aerodynamic body kit. As for the Sport Turismo version, it will obviously actually turn out to be a Cross Turismo wagon with a lowered suspension and without an “off-road” body kit – similar to the modification of the Panamera model of the same name. Most likely, both new “Taikana” will be presented next year.
