There is a specific position, which should always be the Porsche logo on the wheels. Everyone knows that Porsche is extremely detailed.
However, the carmaker is so obsessed with all that even he has his own official policy on how to correctly place the emblem of the brand in the Central caps of each wheel at each of its machines.
At a recent Porsche event one of the photographers wanted a bit of symmetry for a good picture and manually turned the center cap on the wheel that it was in a vertical position. But the representative of the German mark immediately went and returned the cap to its original position and gave an explanation of his behavior.
It turned out that the German brand is practicing its own rather unusual method of alignment of the logo on the wheels of all vehicles, starting with a presentation model for a corporate event, up to models leaving each dealer and authorized service center. Right – align the base of the emblem with the locking ledge of the wheel, which must also be aligned with the valve stem (for tire inflation).
What is the reason is not clear, but after studying a large collection of photo Porsche, you can be sure that the center caps are actually exposed as described from the 911 to Cayenne.
