At the end of April, the official presentation of the eleventh generation of the Honda Civic model took place. One thing Honda didn’t reveal during the big announcement on April 28 is pricing. However, this was fixed due to the leak of price lists on the network.
In particular, information comes from the CivicXI.com forums. A forum administrator post claims the prices were sourced from the brand’s dealerships, which have begun receiving price lists for the model, and this is corroborated by several photographs showing a computer screen with prices for the Civic and a sale date of June 16. Motor1.com contacted Honda to confirm this information, but no response was received at the time of posting.
If the prices are correct, then we can expect only a slight increase in prices for individual versions of Civic. Thus, the basic version of the LX will receive an increase of $ 250 and will be offered for $ 21,700. The top version of the Touring will remain unchanged and will be offered for $ 28,300.
2022 marks the 11th generation of the Honda Civic, with the new sedan being slightly longer in both length and wheelbase. However, the engine range remained the same: the base was a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 158 horsepower. The EX and Touring versions get a turbocharged 1.5-liter four, although it now develops 180 hp. CVT is the only transmission option.
It should be noted that this price list is valid only for sedans. Hatchbacks and a “charged” Civic Si will appear later, as will the new Civic Type R.
