Problems with Triumph Rocket 3: company prepares review

A bell for owners of Triumph Rocket 3 motorcycles 2020-2021. The American organization National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) published a recall that concerns 1,241 motorcycles in the United States, but the problem can be global, since all motorcycles are produced at the same factory in Hinckley.

The reason for the recall was the ABS modulator, which may eventually fail due to the appearance of air in the brake system.

Affected models:

  • Rocket 3 GT 2020-2021
  • Rocket 3 R 2020-2021
  • Rocket 3 TFC 2020

According to the documentation, air may have leaked into the anti-lock system modulator while the rear brake system was being filled with brake fluid during production. Over time, air can cause the rear brake’s braking performance to deteriorate, which undoubtedly increases the risk of loss of control and an accident.
