The Black Series will be the final touch in a generation of the sportiest and most exclusive Mercedes-AMG GT Coupe and Roadster. Production of two sports cars will be completed by the end of the year.

The Mercedes-AMG GT debuted at the 2014 Paris Motor Show and went on sale in March 2015. The celebrity brand and its sports arm have also developed a roadster variant, offering different versions throughout their commercial life.

The Mercedes-AMG GT underwent a facelift in 2017 and climbed continuously with such high power ratings until it reached the exclusive AMG GT Black Series with 730 hp.

Affalterbach’s commercial success is rewarded with the development of the sedan introduced in 2018. The only model in the AMG GT family will go on sale in 2022 because production of the two-door models will end next December.

In fact, the order books are already closed. Only units ordered before early October 2021 will be produced. The only one that will last for a few years is the AMG GT Saloon 4-door coupe. This model not only exudes luxury with outstanding comfort, but is also capable of delivering the highest performance in terms of power, performance and onboard feel. With the latest update, the car has become the fastest production sedan in the world with an integrated plug-in hybrid system, with a maximum output of just over 840 hp.
