Nissan has announced an unusual advertising campaign for its Dayz key-car: small copies of the car will turn into houses for cats.

The company will place animal houses in the form of a Nissan Dayz car in the kotokaf of the Mocha network, which covers all of Japan. The intended message of the ad campaign: the new key-car is so easy to manage that even a cat can handle it. However, just in case, Nissan officially warned car owners about the danger of trying to put a cat behind the wheel of a real car.

Nissan Dayz operates in the key-car segment, that is, it is characterized by compact dimensions and a small 660-CC engine. At the same time, in the home market, even in available configurations, the Dayz is equipped with a developed driver’s assistant system: it includes lane control and pre-emptive braking with recognition of cyclists, a start-up assistant and “smart” head optics, and in expensive versions, adaptive cruise control and a lane-keeping system are added.
