The Audi Q4 e-tron and Q4 Sportback e-tron midsize electric crossovers are already on sale in Europe starting in June. Now Audi has announced the expansion of the range: two more versions have been added to the existing five model versions.
Firstly, electric cars have a rear-wheel drive version of the Audi Q4 Sportback 40 e-tron, although the “forty” with a basic station wagon was at first. This is the most economical and long-range modification in the line. A full charge of the 77 kWh battery should be enough for 534 kilometers in the WLTP cycle: the streamlined coupe body made it possible to win 14 kilometers compared to the base five-door. A single electric motor on the rear axle develops 204 hp. and 310 Nm of torque. The price for this option is 49,500 euros.
In addition, the all-wheel drive version of the crossover is presented – the Audi Q4 45 e-tron quattro. Technically, it is completely identical to the “older” version of the 50 e-tron quattro, but the output of the front electric motor, which is connected if necessary, is electronically limited. Therefore, the maximum performance of the two motors has been reduced from 299 to 265 hp, and the torque – from 460 to 425 Nm.
The passport acceleration time to the first “hundred” has increased from 6.2 to 6.9 seconds, the maximum speed is also limited to 180 km / h. At the same time, the mileage on a single charge was symbolically increased from 488 to 490 km. The Audi Q4 45 e-tron quattro electric car is offered only in the station wagon format. The base price of such a car is 50,900 euros. New versions of Audi electric vehicles are already available for ordering in the European market.
