Rare McLaren P1 sold for $ 7034

The McLaren P1, along with the Porsche 918 Spyder and Ferrari LaFerrari, became a pivotal model in the history of high-performance supercars, each of which launched with hybrid powertrains as the current era of electrification began. The P1 is the rarest of them all, with only 375 pieces produced. One of them is currently looking for a new home.

The 2015 McLaren P1 in question was auctioned off by Collecting Cars in Los Angeles, California. At the factory, he was given a shade known as Fire Black. Contrasting paint is the red McLaren logo on the bonnet and red brake calipers. The wheels have a matte Stealth finish and are covered with Pirelli P Zero tires. Many details are also finished in high-gloss carbon fiber, including the front bumper, roof bucket, rear bumper, side panels and rear fender.

The original owner collected the vehicle from the UK factory before the model was shipped to the US. The last service was recorded in December 2019, when the model drove 542 km.

The sale took place for $ 7034. This amount included: a detailed inspection, a high voltage safety check, a front and rear suspension tightness check, and a lithium-ion battery condition and charge level check. The engine oil and filter were changed while the coolant, brake and HAS reservoir fluids were flushed out. Now the car odometer shows 696 km.

As for the interiors of the McLaren P1, the configuration is relatively harmless and features a combination of black leather, Alcantara, exposed carbon fiber and red contrast stitching.
