The absolute leadership in Europe, the car holds for a second month in a row, ahead of the German Volkswagen Golf.
The Agency’s specialists and statistics analysts of AUTOSTAT based on data from JATO Dynamics said on the best-selling cars in Europe in June of this year. The leader was a compact Renault Clio, this model holds the lead for the second straight month. A sharp increase in sales of the Clio is largely associated with the change of generations in the past month, the car has sold 37 of the 119 units (+3%).
But the Volkswagen Golf, despite the update, sold significantly worse than a year ago. In June, the dealers of the brand sold 24 474 new cars, which is by 35% less than last year. Closes the three leaders of the compact crossover Renault Captur with the result 22 287 cars sold (-21%). The fourth position goes to the Dacia Sandero with a score of 20 699 pieces (-21%).
