Renault has released the first teaser image of the new concept car. The promising novelty embodies the key aspects of the French automaker’s strategy for the future development: environmental protection, safety, inclusiveness. According to the press service of Renault, the concept car will receive a hydrogen engine and will have no analogues in the world.
By getting a hydrogen engine, the concept car confirmed the intentions of the Group and the Renault brand to decarbonize (reduce the carbon footprint). In addition, the novelty will celebrate the company’s progress in the field of circular economy, recovered and recycled materials.
To improve the safety of the driver and passenger, a large number of innovative technological solutions will be used in the future novelty.
The concept car was developed under the direction of Renault Design Director Gilles Vidal. The concept car is part of the French automaker’s recently announced plans to switch its entire model range to electric vehicles by 2030.
The premiere of the new concept car is scheduled for May 2022.
