This new SUV will be developed on global modular platform the Renault-Nissan CMF-A +, which is the basis of the Triber. To create a competitive price, the new compact SUV Renault HBC will share the details with Triber and other products of Renault. Expect that the model will have a similar dashboard design and other interior elements.
Under the hood Renault HBC probably will house a 1.0-litre engine, borrowed from Triber, while Renault will offer a turbocharged unit for more advanced options. As the transmission uses a 5-sturenkatu manual gearbox or “automatic”.
In addition to HBC, Renault is also preparing a compact sedan, codenamed LBA, which will be presented in the world markets later.
