The Genesis brand announced the launch of sales of the updated G70 in the home market, as well as announced prices. In South Korea, the novelty can be purchased for 40.3 million won ($35,400)-cheaper than Mercedes-Benz C-Class, BMW 3 series and Audi A4.
The Genesis G70, which survived the facelift, was unveiled in September this year. At the same time, it was reported that the first novelty will be received by residents of South Korea, and then the model will reach other markets. Now the price list for G70 has been declassified. The version with a basic two-liter engine with a capacity of 252 horsepower was estimated at 40,350,000 won (about $35,400 at the current rate), the diesel version with a 202-horsepower engine – at 43,590,000 won ($38,300), and with a top – end 3.3-liter V6 (370 forces) – at 45,850,000 won ($40,300).
For comparison, the nearest competitors, for example, Audi A4, costs 48.5 million won ($42,600) in the local market, Mercedes-Benz C-Class – from 50.8 million won ($44,600), and BMW 3-Series – 51.7 million won ($45,400).
The updated Genesis G70 includes a 10.25-inch multimedia system touch screen instead of the previous eight-inch one, and the “over-the-air”upgrade feature has also become available.
