The refreshed 2022 Jaguar I-Pace has received a few minor changes to keep the sole EV of the fresh British brand. The 2022 I-Pace offers an improved ownership experience with the latest infotainment system and quick recharging thanks to an updated on-board charger.
The I-Pace 2022 is equipped with the Jaguar Pivi Pro infotainment system. Pivi Pro offers standard Andriod Auto and Apple CarPlay integration. The interface is designed to look like a smartphone. With the new infotainment system, the I-Pace can receive OTA updates that are tied to its enhanced navigation capabilities. This will allow drivers to see charging points on their routes with predicted charge levels upon arrival.
Other interior features include cabin air ionisation using PM2.5 filtration to trap ultrafine particles in the air. There is a Meridian 3D sound system, a surround camera system as standard and a Jaguar ClearSight rearview mirror. The latter maps the video stream to a traditional interior mirror that can be switched between digital camera input and traditional reflection.
Improved charging times provided by the 11 kW on-board charger. A 100 kW DC device will allow you to refill the range up to 100 km in 15 minutes.
The radiator grille has received a new Atlas Gray finish. As an option for the 2022 model, the Bright Package is offered, which includes a chrome surround for the radiator grille, Atlas Gray mirror caps, satin chrome window surrounds and an Atlas Gray rear diffuser. In addition, the existing Black Pack now extends the black trim to the rear badges.
Performance remains the same: 394 hp from a configuration with two engines and acceleration time from 0 to 96 km / h in 4.5 seconds. While there are no EPA figures yet for the 2022 model, Jaguar hasn’t mentioned any changes to the battery or engine, so it’s likely that the I-Pace 2020/2021’s 376 km range will be carried over to the 2022 model.
